Thomas A. Ekkens has created the “Ekkensian” poetry form using the following structure:

  Iambic rhythm Rhyme
  line 1 five feet a
  line 2 two feet b
  line 3 two feet c
  line 4 five feet a
  line 5 one foot repeat
